GOD IS INFINITE, ETERNAL, AND UNCHANGEABLE IN WISDOM

I. GOD’S WISDOM IS SEEN IN HIS INFINITE INTELLIGENCE
PSALM 147:5 “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”

II. GOD’S WISDOM IS SEEN IN HIS WORKS
We see the wisdom of God as we consider his works of I) Creation, II) Redemption, and III) Providence.
I) CREATION
PSALM 104:24 “O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
II) REDEMPTION
ROMANS 3:23-26 “23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”
ROMANS 11:33-36 “33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34‘For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?’ 35‘Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?’ 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things.
